Interactive water fountains have gained immense popularity over the past several years, which is evident with increasing installations across the country. These systems are built in different settings and configurations for amusement parks, malls, city parks, and areas adjacent to swimming pools. The system comprises of dancing water jets, jumping jets or other such features located on a sloped pad with no aboveground pool of water. Water is usually stored in underground reservoirs or surge chambers that serves as a source for the fountains. The water drawn from the reservoir is sprayed high in the air. After the water hits the ground, it is automatically collected back in the reservoir through drains in the floor. The drains are large enough to prevent the pooling of water.
